After years of living a plant-based lifestyle, Nutrika’s owner wanted to share her knowledge and expertise with many who wished to do the same. So, she launched Nutrika, a plant-based brand that aims to make healthy plant-based diets more accessible.  

Nutrika offers a variety of Styrian pumpkin seed-based products, which are known for their numerous health benefits. Some of which are its rich nutritional content and high levels of antioxidants. 

Aside from Styrian pumpkin seeds, Nutrika also sells natural cherry juice. 

#2 – Zimt Chocolates

From its ingredients to its practices, Zimt is a 100% vegan brand in Vancouver. It’s made with Fairtrade ingredients, uses biodegradable packaging, and even cleans its factory with vegan cleaning products. Most of all, Zimt donates 1% of its sales to select charities.  

All of these were purposeful decisions by founder Emma Smith to build a chocolate brand that’s as ethical as possible.
